In this Instagram, GRYFFIN can be seen showing off a completed session in Ableton Live, which from the looks of it is his primary DAW. Ableton appears to be running on GRYFFIN's iMac. He says, "Sooooo excited to release this new track!!! Who's ready to hear it?!?!" (from Dec 2014).

In this video GRYFFIN shows how he puts together a track. He says:

At 1:07 of the video you can see the Fender Stratocaster guitar he's using with a sunburst finish, rosewood fingerboard, and white pickguard. The Fender logo can be seen on the headstock.

At 0:13 into this video, Gryffin shows that he is using Omnisphere for the chord progression. The caption says:
