At 40:55 in this podcast Ian shares his recently build travelboard. It is a scaled down version of his main pedalboard. The pedals on this board is the Cali76 Compact Bass, the Line6 HX Stomp with the external Pedalnetics Helauxy Duo switch pedal, and the Jad Freer Audio Capo Multiple Preamp. All pedals routed with EBS flat cables. To power the pedals he uses a Cioks DC7. He also got a Dunlop Gator Grip pick hidden underneath the board.

This Instagram post shows two of Ians Fender Jazz Basses. One of these is a 68 Sunburst which he bought in 2008. The finish is aged, rosewood fretboard with block inlays and tort scratchplate. It wears flats exclusuievly.

The post states that the bass is a 30 inch short scale in the color Ice Blue Metallic over Shoreline Gold over White light relic finish. Further it says it has a chunky D neck, custom 7.25 to 9.5 radius, walnut board, reversed headstock, stainless frets, custom house wound JazzBar pickups, series parallel operation and a rotary tone switch. It combines the aspects of a Jazz bass, a Bass VI and a Jazzmaster.
Ian can be seen using this bass a lot both live and in studio.
