Artist usage

In this Youtube video Ian lessons Bernard Edwards iconic baseline on Chics tune Good Times, playing on his Pre-Ernie Ball 79 Music Man StingRay with maple fretbosrd, flat wound strings. The StingRays from this era did have the build-in mutes in the bridge. So did Ians, but he says that the material deteriorated. Therefore he uses the Nordy mute on the bridge. He uses this bass, among others, when making content for Scotts Bass Lessons.
