Jacob Collier's Gear
Seen throughout the video, hanging on the wall to the right of the door. Obviously a Fender acoustic bass, the pickguard shows that this has to be the Kingman SCE.
In this photo Jacob Collier can be seen in his room, sitting on his Baterinho, his "box of stars". It is custom painted, fading from blue to dark blue. The art on the back represents an image of his face composed of stars and a London Skyline composed of several musical instruments.
Jacob showcases his use of Neutron 3 on his lead vocals in his 'All I Need' Logic Session Breakdown at 30:48. He used it to take out the low end to "leave room for the bass", as well as adding high-end/mids, a compressor, and an exciter.
Jacob showcases his Kings Microphone plugin in his 'Sleeping on My Dreams' Logic Session Breakdown at 14:47. He uses it on his vocals to "make it sound old-fashioned" and to "take out the cream".
Find it on:
He's only used this keyboard once, during his performance on Jimmy Kimmel. Visible at 0:21, identifiable by the "XW-P1" marking on the back. It's unclear if he'll use it ever again or where he got it from, but it's likely that he either rented it or had it, like the other Casio keyboard, for quite some time, he just stopped using it when he got some better ones.
As seen in the video "Jacob Collier Talks About Kii THREE Speakers" by Kii Audio on YouTube, this was the pop-screen he used with the AKG C12VR, at least since the room was remodeled in 2017. When he got the Klaus Heyne-modified U87AI, he started using a Neumann-branded windshield instead of a pop-filter like this and later used this Stedman filter at the piano, first for the U87AI, then later for the AEA KU5A ribbon microphone, having described the latter as being particularly sensitive to sibilance and plosives. It's likely that he stopped using a large round pop-filter because it obstructed his view of the computer monitor, later opting to position the microphone off-axis and using a thin windshield for spit protection.
Worn throughout his performance on CBS' Saturday Sessions (which has since been taken off YouTube) and on other occasions, starting in late 2020. Used mainly for recording everything but piano and drums, as well as some mixing, most likely.

Seen supporting his Mojave microphones. Probably used since 2017, when Ben Bloomberg outfitted his room with a whole bunch of new recording gear. This can only be the Keepdrum STB01 - a fairly obscure stereo bar - since it's the only stereo bar available with hexagonal screws like this one has that also has fixed microphone positions. He shows his microphone setup starting at 20:54.
As seen throughout the video holding the AKG C414 on the snare.
