As posted on Instagram, Joe Bonamassa recalls "1958 Silvertone U2 and a 1962 mini Harmony amp being one with nature out in the yard."
On his website, Joe Bonamassa says this about his Fender Telecaster:
"The class of 1951. Here we see one of the first 250 Telecasters ever made. October 1951 neck and body date with the matching pro amplifier. This would be what I would have used if I was a member of Bob Wills Texas Playboys!"
Joe Bonamassa says, "1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard # 9-1951. This guitar is known as the Skinner burst and has been renamed Principal Skinner by me. This guitar was purchased in Appleton, Wisconsin and has had 4 owners in its lifetime. The Father from 1959 to 1980, the son from 1980 to 2006 (he sold it with Dad’s permission to buy a cabin on the lake in Benton, Minnesota), my friend Ronny Proler and myself 2011 to present. It is truly a special sunburst Les Paul and is the flagship of my collection. I love this guitar," on this page of his website.
"1972 Fender Stratocaster. A Richie Blackmore special. I wanted one like his so I bought this from Rumbleseat music. Killer strat and does the Richie too bright but metal thing perfect," says Joe Bonamassa, on his website.
"1968 ES-355, just like Freddie King’s main guitar. The late 60?s Gibson’s were quirky but these 355?s were a star. It’s big and bold and screams, Are you Ready For Freddie?!!!!!" says Joe Bonomassa, on his website.
“‘Are You Ready for Freddie!!?’ The answer is a resounding always! I bought this guitar on EBAY because I wanted a 72 embossed covers ES-355TD in cherry red just like Freddie King played at the Cotton Bowl in Houston in 1974. It’s probably the rarest guitar I own next to the Johnny Cash Grammar guitar. You’re saying, how does a guy who owns 4 sunburst Les Pauls from the late 50?s say that? Well it’s true and it’s a true gem. Loud and proud like Freddie would want," Joe Bonomassa says, on his website.
"1991 Fender Robben Ford Model, Originally called the “Elitist” and very Gibson inspired for a Fender product. I really love this era of Fender guitars. The original custom shop guitars are very good. John English, Jay Black, John Suhr are among the luminaries that have gone on to legendary status. Robben’s guitar is a star and lasted about 8 years. I’m lucky to own this guitar," says Joe Bonamassa, on his website.

"Back yard BBQ with a coupla weird Gibson made but not Gibson basses. A pair of 1964's ... Epiphone Newport in cherry and a Kalamazoo whatever in Cardinal Red. No slapping unless your name is Larry Graham...????????"
According to Instagram post, Bonamassa uses the Korg G4 rotary speaker simulator.
In this photo, which shows some of Bonamassa's pedals, the Ibanez FP-777 flying pan can be seen.
"Many factors go into the sound of a real 1959 Sunburst Les Paul, but these pickups will get you the clarity and the growl of this guitar without the wallet-busting price tag of an original 1959. I was immediately impressed by the similarities – the balance between the front pickup and the lead pickup are nearly identical."
You can see in the corner of the video that he uses two Pro Juniors . One of them is from this limited series.
