John Dwyer's Guitars

Dwyer regularly uses this guitar on stage.

John Dwyer can be seen using a modified red Kay Vanguard live. The guitar has a Seymour Duncan Invader pickup in the bridge and the stock Kay gold foil in the neck. Both the volume and tone controls have been removed, and the neck pickup is dead. The Invader simply runs directly to the output.

you can clearly see the guitar from multiple angles in the youtube video "OSEES - Live At Red Rocks, May 15 2021"

it is distinctly a Melody Maker with the 'original' neck pickup and 'modified' P90 bridge pickup plus custom tone and volume knobs.

John can be seen using an old SG style Gibson Melody Maker throughout their recent rehearsal video. It looks like he's modded it with 2 Electrical Guitar Company Single Coils or some brand of P90s. The color is Pelham Blue, which ages into this green-ish color due to the metallics in the paint.

It was used on: "Island Raiders", "Ship", "Curtains", "Dumb Drums", "T.H.o.F.N.", "Golden Phones", "If I Had A Reason", "Dreadful Heart", "Iceberg" and "Second Date".
