When Kaskade does his own mastering, he mentions using the Waves SSL G-Master Buss Compressor Plugin.

"I master my own stuff when I’m in a rush. I have no set rule about which plugins to use, but typically I’ll use something like this: Epure II EQ from Flux, SSL G-Master Buss Compressor by Waves and Ozone 4 from iZotope."

Discussing how he masters his own tracks, Kaskade says he sometimes uses the SPL Transient Designer Plugin.

Kaskade frequently utilizes Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2.8, a key synth plugin in crafting his signature sound, as highlighted in an article by Emusician.

Another one of Kaskade's go-to EQ plugins, the Waves API 560 is modeled after the 1967 classic.

One of Kasakde's go-to plugins to put over the whole track, to ensure the track "pumps" and sounds big.

"Occasionally I also turn to the McDSP ML4000 HD" says Kaskade about how he masters his own tracks.

When sculpting the sound of his software synths, Kaskade lists the Massenburg MDW Hi-Res EQ as one of his favorites.

"In a reverberant track such as 'Room for Happiness' featuring Skylar Grey, this means using a production chain that begins with the Focusrite D2 EQ/dynamics control, dipped around 61Hz."

Kaskade uses the Sonnox Oxford SuprEsser as part of a chain of plugins to treat reverberant vocals.

Kaskade tours the majority of the year, and works on music on the go. "…he says the track 'Turn It Down' was almost completely arranged in airports, drawing on the NEXUS2 and Spectrasonics Trilian Total Bass Module."

In a Reddit AMA Kaskade posted, " AS for synths I am really digging serum. it sounds new - which it is and the GUI is great. I have been using it a lot lately."

Kaskade mentions using the Epure EQ plugin when doing the mastering for his tracks himself.

Kaskade turns to the Flux Mastering Pack when choosing to master his own tracks.

The bundle includes the following plugins: Solera II, Pure Limiter II, Elixir, Epure II (Native), Stereo Tool, and BitterSweet II.

When talking about what software he used on his Fire & Ice album, Kaskade says "The libraries [for NEXUS2] are full of both familiar and completely crazy sounds, and it's really easy to navigate, so I used it a lot on the album, though I wish you could sculpt the sounds a little bit more."

One of the many EQ plugins Kaskade prefers is the Brainworx bx_hybrid.

In an interview with Emusician, Kaskade mentions using the URS N12 Series 12-Band Graphic EQ Plugin as one of his preferred EQ tools.

The McDSP FilterBank EQ is one of Kaskade's preferred EQ plugins. He uses it to sculpt the sound of his favorite software synths, such as the Nexus.

Kaskade uses the Waves DeEsser Plugin as part of his vocal processing chain, to clean up any sibilance.

After the Focusrite d2, Kaskade uses the Waves Renaissance Vox Plugin in a plugin chain to process vocals, for "smashing it up a little."

The EchoBoy plugin is used by Kaskade on vocal tracks.
