Tame Impala used Sennheiser e609 at Lollapalooza Argentina 2016 and at Vorterix Sideshow 2016. In the video the mic can be seen at 0:15 in front of a Vox amp. In the following note: http://www.audiotechnology.com.au/wp/index.php/plugged-in-next-level-live-guitars/ Adam Round (Tame Impala sound engineer) says: “I’ve been mixing Kevin since early 2014 [...] I use a Sennheiser e906 mic on his cab. I find I get what I need out of most setups with a single mic.”

As seen in this FIFA 21 premiere video, Kevin now has a black Retroscape Impala. It's definitely the Retroscape model because the switches are black, while the original had colored switches. While he used to use an original 60s tobacco burst Impala, it's possible that it was lost in the wild fire that destroyed most of his old gear a few years ago and he replaced it with the Retroscape.

This is a photo taken during the recording sessions for Innerspeaker. The entirety of Innerspeaker was recorded to a Boss BR-1600. Kevin considered it an upgrade as he was already fluent with recording with the BR-864.

Kevin has been known to use a 1965 Hofner violin bass since Lonerism. you can tell its a 1965/66 model due to the the larger pickup rings and the larger control panel, with binding and a raised plastic logo.

Kevin Parker of Tame Impala frequently uses the Telefunken M80 dynamic microphone during performances. According to a post by Retro Knob on Facebook, the microphone's use is evident in various appearances, including Tame Impala's Deezer session. In this session, Kevin Parker is seen using an all-white M80 microphone from the start. Additionally, band member Jay Watson uses both a gold and a white M80 microphone, with the latter visible at the 1:45 mark of the session video.
