Luke used to use a memory man but uses the Freeze now instead. Comes in at 6:35ish.

I have seen him use it live, and he uses it in his lessons. Usually it is used for the open-G tuning songs like “Smoking is Magic”.

I've got two big box Rat pedals, and I've had them modified by friend back in Hamilton Mr. Adam Melnick. He put super bright LED's in them so that I can see when each of them is on. The first one it has a green LED and it's always on.

I really fell in love with the Rat pedals because not only is it really flexible and really nasty if you want it to be but it's also very clear and has a ton of volume, and it's simple for an idiot like me so you can easily navigate them. Which is very exciting for a guy who does not like to twiddle knobs too much.

So I kind of have one kind of set lower and then I have a second one that I just stomp ontop of that one so that it's turned up higher and it's a boost. If you take your hands of the guitar or even if you try to stop playing while that is on it is just howling feedback. So you kind of have to get used to that rig, unless you want to just subject some assholes to just sheer white noise.

I'd always wanted since I was 12 years old, A really old cream Les Paul. And that one I saw up on the high rack, that was the oldest one that they had and it was also the yellowest one, and I looked at it carefully and there was a Rolling Stones tongue in it from somebody who had a sticker for a decade on it of the stones tongue and took it off so it's kind of a pale mark there. Once I saw that and I plugged it in, and it had been modded extensively it was a real roadhorse already when I got it. Once I plugged it in, there wasn't a way that I was going to leave that store without that guitar

My eyes don't really wander anymore for guitars, there's no other guitar I want to play other than that one.

I think Playing a 1975 Les Paul Custom can make you very lazy on guitar, Because It's a dream.

I've got, I think it's a 1978 Memory Man but I don't use it in any musical way, I just use it to make noise when I'm switching guitars. Carry on a note and it's got some vibrato in it so it makes some white noise for the children to hear while I'm taking a sip of beer and switching guitars.

I've got a Peterson Strobe Tuner, which is like modelled after the old Neil Young spinning one that you can select the string that you want to tune. But it's just a really really fast chromatic tuner that I like, you can shoot a bullet at it and nothing would happen.

It’s quite bizarre compared to anything else I’ve ever played. It’s definitely got its own sound, focused but very resonant. Full 2 octaves which is cool too. It’s got its own pickups which you can slide in and out anytime in the bridge position. Mine only has the “country rock humbucker”. It sounds awesome.
