In a studio video, Martin Garrix speaks very highly of the iZotope Ozone, and how it brings the life out of his productions when he puts it on the master bus.

At 9:47 Martin shows that his major pluck lead "Vandalism_Lead_Castle" is coming from Shocking Sounds 4.

When asked about his favorite plugins/VSTs on his Instagram stories, Martin Garrix includes Omnisphere. It's unclear which exact version he uses.

At 5:47 of the video you can see a folder named "Dance Ultra Voice Vol...", which stands for a Sampling CD named Dance Ultra Voice Vol.1 by Mutekki Media.

Starting at 3:13, Martin Garrix talks about how he used a loop he liked for the intro to his track "Animals." He says, "this one is from Vengeance, it's a very simple loop." If you look closely at 3:30 you can see it's VFH3 130BPM Pressure 2 Melody 2.

In this screenshot from a Martin Garrix Instagram story, he's "working on new show outro" and several of his plugins can be seen. Amongst them is FabFilter Pro-Q.

During the ADE Masterclass 2017, Martin Garrix mentions at 32:02 that he feels inspired and eager to create something new using a plugin he loves, the IK Multimedia Sonik Synth 2. He hints that he might have discovered it through fellow artist Jay Hardway, who also uses this synth plugin.

Martin Garrix talks about using this plugin a lot, particularly in the intro of his track "Animals".

At 23: 05 in the video you can see an audio file named "VEC2 Bassdrums Clubby 047", which is part of a SamplePack Serie named Vengeance Club Sounds Volume 2 by Vengeance.

Sylenth1 is most clearly seen on Martin's screen at the 4:53 mark of his video with Future Music, but the synth plugin appears a few other times during his demonstration of how he created "Animals".

DJ Mag asked him that "What’s the best new bit of DJ/production technology, and why?" Martin Garrix replies:

“Well, I’ve always loved Serum — I’m not sure if that came out this year but it’s a great plug-in. And of course, I love the new FL Studio!”

Martijn did a Q&A on an Instagram story, where a fan asked him what are his favorite VST plugins. He answered, stating that his favorite VSTs are Omnishpere, ValhallaRoom, Spire & Sylenth1.

In this screenshot from a Martin Garrix Instagram story, Martin Garrix is asked about his favorite plugins/VSTs. He includes "valhalla room" in the list, which refers to the ValhallaDSP ValhallaRoom Reverb, implying this is one of Garrix's go-to reverb plugins.

At 1:32 into Martin's "In The Studio" video on YouTube, one can see several files marked "VUF1 128BPM" on the left-hand side of Martin's screen. These files have the same naming convention as other Vengeance samples, so it stands to reason that this stands for "Vengeance Ultimate Fills 1". Additionally, at 1:38, the 15th track in Martin's arrangement contains a VUF1-labeled sample.

In this interview, Martin states that he uses a plug-in called Little AlterBoy. He highly praise’s it’s formant shifting feature. Martin mentions using the Alterboy at 24:35 in the making of Ocean.
