Matt has a 6505 amp in his collection. He states that throughout trivium’s history, they have always used a 5150 style amp. Either a peavey 5150, evh 5150 III, or a Peavey 6505

Matt Heafy uses the EVH 5150III 100S 100-Watt Tube Head for guitar tones on Trivium's album 'In The Court Of The Dragon,' as confirmed by Trivium's Instagram post.

Live trivium uses actual tube amps and cabs. The cabs act as stage volume. Rather than micing the cabs the band runs their signal through the two notes, to the front of house. At the front of house their sound guy loads impulse responses the the two notes
