Alright, so this one’s a bit tricky. Basically, it looks like in 2002-03 Mikey used a Jazz Bass with a pretty distinct Silver Flake finish. The reason why my eye turns to this bass specifically is the narrower headstock detailed with a black finish. In the photo, you can see the black headstock, along with the prominent flake. The only difference between the product picture and the picture of Mikey’s bass would be the white pick guard (however, Mikey later cited this Jazz Bass as inspiration for his signature Mustang model, so it would be understandable if at one point he’d seen the Jazz Bass with a black pickguard.) While this bass seems pretty unlikely to be in the hands of a just emerging bassist, Mikey seemingly accredited someone nicknamed “Hambone” (presumably a member of Thursday) with giving him his first bass and bass amp. It's believed this bass was destroyed in 2003-2004 when Frank Iero forgot to lock the storage boxes whilst touring and it, along with other band gear fell onto the highway, and although Iero "Risked life and limb" trying to save the bass, however without luck, as told by Way and Iero in an Instagram story by Fender Custom Shop when receiving their new guitars.

Used by Way on the My Chemical Romance Reunion Tour between 2019 and 2023. This bass was likely also used when recording The Foundations Of Decay. The example Way used was actually produced by Fender Custom Shop, however finished to the exact spec of the production version, with the exception of chrome pickup and bridge covers, which Way took off anyway.
When Mikey joined Fall Out Boy on stage to play Saturday on July 1st 2023, he borrowed Pete Wentz' Sterling Ray 34 bass
In this 2019 Instagram post, Way shows off his two new Fender Custom Shop Jazz Basses, Specced identically to his 2023 Fender Signature Series Jazz Bass, however featuring chrome 'ashtray' bridge and pickup covers, which were removed by the time this image was posted but can be found in recordings of him and guitarist Frank Iero (with his Dakota Red Jazzmaster) taking delivery of the guitars. The pair of guitars were finished in Gloss Silver Sparkle (like his production signature) and Black respectively. However the black one was seldom used live and likely tuned to E flat, as opposed to the usual E standard of most MCR songs.

Based on an image from the My Chemical Romance "Long Live" tour shared by Rocksound on Twitter, bassist Mikey Way is seen playing a Fender Jazz Bass with a "Candy Apple Red" finish. This bass closely resembles the 2010 Fender 50th Anniversary Jazz Bass, aligning with the band's aesthetic and the production timeline.
This bass first appeared on the 2005 Warped Tour, and was used to record The Black Parade and subsequent touring. It is finished in Chrome Silver, a somewhat rare colour. It was fitted with a Seymour Duncan Basslines SPB-3 Quarter Pound pickup.
