This incredibly rare and insanely cool Rickenbacker 4004L (#13 out of a run of 15 total) is now available in my @reverb store (reverb.com/shop/john-baizley-gear-page.) @justjost loved this bass, but we’re trimming a bit of gear-fat this holiday season. No guitar of mine ever stayed in as nice condition as this one.
Like every other bassist on earth, he’s using the Ampeg fridge live
Using the head live with baroness. There’s no mic on the cab so he’s going direct, either from a pedal or the back of this amp. Who knows‽
This rig rundown has the pedal at the end of his signal chain, so that’s probably his front of house tone
The classic yellow tone monster on his board for rig rundown
On his pedal board is a grunge pedal for nasty tones
It’s on his board from the rig rundown and it’s a preamp. Yay.
It powers his pedalboard. So there’s always that.
