Stump says, “When I had this designed, I really was going for something that was a Swiss Army knife and I wanted something that could accomplish everything. I have a big collection of vintage guitars, and it’s really fun to play around with them, but on stage, on a tour, I want something that is consistent and easy.”

patrick stump performed with this guitar for much of 2006 warped tour. In a 2007 interview with gibson he spoke of favouring this guitar over other guitars he owned at the time.
"I recorded Patrick's vocals with a U47 tube in most cases, a U67 in other places, and compressed with a Neve 33264, a Distressor or an 1176," says Neal Avron in this interview.
