This video confirms his involvement in the creation and use of this signature pedal.

Phil X uses the Tone Americana Evil Robot Phil X Custom 214, which is a clone of his original Tonemaster Troubador 214 amp, a vintage low-watt amplifier produced by Magnatone. This is supported by the image available on Equipboard.
