Pustulus Maximus of GWAR (Brent Purgason)'s Gear
This is the only guitar Pustulus Maximus used on tour with GWAR. It's a signature series by Blakhart guitars.

Pustulus uses an mxr flanger in his pedal setup. He has it set the same way Eddie Van Halan used to set his flanger. the Knobs on the pedal are taped down, so they do not get messed with during a show
In the Rig Rundown video he did with Gear Gods he shows off his different Dean guitars. The pickups he has are a Seymour Duncan 59 in the neck, and a DiMarzio X2N in the bridge. He also stated that he played in at a Vinnie Paul tribute show.

Pustulus uses a boss harmonist in his pedal setup. This pedal stays on all the time, however is not engaged in the effects loop until a corresponding button is pressed on his voodo lab switcher.

One overdrive he uses is an mxr shinjuku drive. he uses this pedal as well as a ibanez ts9, mxr distortion 3, and a boss super overdrive. he states he some times will have two overdrives accessible on the board at once. he does this because, sometimes he likes to use a certain overdrive depending on the guitar he is using
Pustulus has a custom shop dean ml in his collection. the guitar was custom made for him by dean. The guitar is in a custom alligator skin finish

Pustulus uses a Palmer PDI-03 in his rack setup. He states that they are a good unit, but he doesn't like the way they sound in his in ears. As a result, he mixes in stage volume in his in ear mix. He sends the palmers to the other band members. This is so, if he changes volume each night, it doesn't effect anyone else's mix

Pustulus uses a behringer fcb1010 live. this is used to control his voodo lab switcher. this allows him to keep certain pedals on all the time, and engage them in the effects loop with the fcb1010. Pustulus took his unit apart, and re wired it to be powered by 5 pin midi and phantom power
