In a guitar rig tour video by Sweetwater, Richie Faulkner of Judas Priest discusses using the Boss RT-20 Rotary Ensemble to achieve the distinctive rotary effect heard at the beginning of "Sinner." Faulkner notes that this pedal captures the Hendrix-like sound he was seeking, reminiscent of the effect used in "House Burning Down." He appreciates the pedal not only for its sound quality but also for its aesthetic, likening its color to a "brown 80s Porsche."

"Exactly anything sci-fi; anything you know: fun. Me and Aide Vines, my tech, were out in Japan again and we went into this guitar store and they had these pedals. And I've told you before: whatever it did, I was going to buy this thing because it had a, you know, it would looked like a robot alien space head type thing and you could lift up it's mask and there was the knobs underneath. Luckily it turned out to be a delay pedal. So I put that in there, and it's been there ever since, really."

"The main delay that I use is the 'Ogre' and then for 'Saints In Hell' there's this part in the middle, which has got a very strong; bright teeth and we actually put that (the Boss DD7) through the front because it is so strong on the record. And that's literally kicked in for about 30-40 seconds and then its out."
