Robert Burås' Gear
Robert Burås was known to use a red and white Fender Jazzmaster '62 Reissue, as seen in a user-uploaded photo. Given his passing over a decade ago, this model aligns with his era of performance.
In the user-uploaded photo, Robert Burås is seen with a Gibson 1970 ES-335 in Walnut finish. While the bridge suggests it could be a '68 model or a reissue, it's likely an authentic '68 given his status as a professional guitarist. This guitar was prominently used in his band, My Midnight Creeps.
At 41:59 you can see a red MXR pedal with those old big knobs on, most definitively a older MXR Dyna Comp.
In this speech he talks about how his first guitar was a Fender Stratocaster.
He played this guitar live in the early years, and he uses it on stage in this video.
It's on his board, hard to spot, but you can see it on the left side of the board. It's also used for this song, so you hear it as well.
He used to combo his Marshall head and cab with a Fender Twin Reverb. Clearly seen in this video.
Back on the right in the image, you can see a Fender '65 Twin Reverb.
