Ryan Key, known for his work with Yellowcard, has transitioned to playing an ESP Eclipse II guitar, as evidenced by the recent giveaway of his black Les Paul Studio, which he used for over a decade.

At 0:45 there is a clear shot of two Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifiers. Both guitarists used them extensively.

In this interview, Yellowcard vocalist/guitarist Ryan Key is revealed to use a Les Paul Studio. It says he, "will be equipped with an all-black Les Paul Studio when Yellowcard’s fall dates commence in Boston on Sept. 9."

This interview states that Ryan Key uses a Gibson J-45. It says, "These days, Key and Mendez are getting a stripped-down taste of the road ahead. They’ve been traveling from radio station to radio station, playing acoustic versions of several of the new album’s songs, including 'Light Up the Sky,' the lead single and a tune Key crafted with a 2005 Gibson J-45."

Ryan Key, in an interview for Ultimate Ears, states that he uses te Ultimate Ears 18. This can be seen in video rigth at the beginning, at about: 0:06.

Ryan Key uses a Fender Telecaster Deluxe Custom Ryan Key, as confirmed in a TikTok video on the Yellowcard account. In the video, Ryan explains: "These are kind of custom Fender Telecasters. So they're like American Standard Teles with Vintera necks on them, that's how I get like the big Stratocaster style headstock on them. Single pickup, single knob just for clean and dirty. I got them when I started playing for New Found Glory in 2019. I love them, I love the look of them. I love the vibe, I love the big headstock. I like the negative kind of like, black and white and natural and black pick guard on this one." The accompanying text mentions: "The pickups are Seymour Duncan JB." Additionally, the text states that Ryan would be playing these guitars at Riot Fest in 2022, and multiple photos of him using them live are available online.

Ryan Key can be seen using a Fender Telecaster Deluxe, which has been modified to include two red-finished humbuckers, as evidenced by a photo posted by gear.182 on Instagram.
