Ryen Slegr can frequently be seen using an MIJ 1952 Fender Telecaster Reissue in a White Blonde finish. This guitar is featured in the liner notes for "Songs of Inaudible Trucks and Cars" and "The Doubble Donkey Disc," and he continues to use it to this day. He has modified it with a Seymour Duncan "Lil' 59" pickup in the bridge position.

In a video of Ozma performing live at Emo's in Austin on October 29, 2003, Ryen Slegr can be clearly seen playing a G&L Tribute ASAT Special Semi Hollow with a Bigsby.

Ryen Slegr uses the Seymour Duncan Little '59 Pickup in his Reissue Telecaster. At 9:05 into the video "Ozma - Doubble Donkey Disc 20th Anniversary Fan Interview," Ryen specifies that he added one into his Telecaster to avoid the feedback that would occur when playing in small venues.

In this video of Ozma performing "Domino Effect", Ryen Slegr can be seen performing with a Gibson Les Paul Classic (Item is wrong). He can also be observed using this guitar in several other live performances from 2003. This guitar can also be seen in the Spending Time recording video.

In a 1997 performance of Ozma on Icky Space, Ryen Slegr can clearly be seen using a black Fender American Standard Stratocaster Electric Guitar. This Stratocaster can be seen played by Jose Galvez in the Domino Effect video, and it can also be seen played by Ryen in the video for Bad Dogs.
