One of my favorite guitars
I got one Pelham Blue & I think Chipiphone pickups but I don't really know. To me they nail the tone for NIRVANA, Foo Fighters & metal. if you hate the control layout you can do what I did & very carefully swapped the bridge volume & tone pots so the tone pot is next to the outputjack. If you want a to like make a frank iero get a white get a white one & replace the toggle switch with a varitone switch & replace one of the 4 control pots with a shadow killpot

Great for price
Style: Great finish and batwing headstock is sweet.
Playability: Thicker neck than a Fender and a bit too much lacquer on the back. Very light and comfortable to jump around with on stage. A bit top-heavy though. Controls are intuitive and easy to use. The push-pull pots are a great addition to this guitar, as you can achieve single-coil and humbucker tone.
Tone: Pickups aren't superb. They block most noise but are somewhat indistinguishable from each other. The neck pickup has slightly less power, but that's about it. The bridge does have a great deep tone that you would expect from an Epiphone humbucker and it pushes amps beautifully.
Thought about trading this guitar in for a while, but a simple neck pickup swap should make it much more versatile.

Try some old T-Top Gibson buckers or if you don't have a drawer fulla parts buy a set of Duncan 59s. This guitar is built a lot like an SG and low DCR, Alnico 5 buckers with perfectly matched coils suit the SG format.

I think it was made in Korea but I'd have to double-check.

This Alpine White guitar perfectly fits Bleachers' use of black and white in the Strange Desire and Gone Now album covers. Jack has stated that "black and white creates a strange dreamscape that color never can." These colors are also symbolic of his anthemic Bleachers music, inspired by the Beatles and Bruce Springsteen, to which fans can both dance and cry.
