She's known for her inspirational piano-driven songwriting, but she picks up the guitar frequently for both writing and performance. Her instruments of choice? The Loar LH-200 and LO-16. I had to write you again to say thank you so much for extending YOUR artisty to me and allowing me to experience what you guys do. This uke is precious and felt so right the moment it was in my hands. It's bright and earthy and so incredibly beautiful, everyone keeps asking me where it's from. I played it tonight on tour for the first time and it was just awesome. I'm so very very grateful and just wanted to reach out again to say how much it meant to me to be an artist that gets to play one of your ukuleles.

"The remainder, Yamaha CP80 electric piano, Mellotron, guitars, backing vocals, were overdubbed at my own studio, Squawkbox," says Eric Rosse, about recording Sara Bareilles, in this article.

"We recorded three different versions of the song, though the vocal remained the same throughout each incarnation, and we built the track around that. I had recorded demos of all the songs for the album at my studio, recording her vocals with my vintage Neumann U87, which I ran through an API 3124M mic pre or my Audio Upgrades Class A custom-built stereo mic pre, a GML 8200 EQ, and a Teletronix LA2A compressor, straight into Pro Tools," says Eric Rosse, about recording Sara Bareilles' song, Love Song, in this article.
