Scott Scharinger's Gear
Scott Scharinger frequently used the Ampeg V4 4x12 Cabinet until he transitioned to Science amps and a 2x12 cabinet. This can be seen in the performance video "Dads - 'My Crass Patch'" on Chalk TV.
Scott used one throughout Dads' entire career as a way to split his signal and run a sub-octave signal to a bass amp to achieve a full sound live despite only being a two-piece band.
"I got my Jazzmaster back from @mmguitarbar and wow!!! This has been my favorite guitar I've ever owned and I already know I'll never sell it, but they really tuned it up to perfection! It's a 2001 @fender 62 American Vintage Reissue with @seymourduncanpickups Antiquity 1 pickups and a @masterybridge #fenderforlife"
He started using this guitar with Dads around summer 2014.

The neck got ripped off at a show once, this was his first First Act guitar.
It's also been on his pedalboard nonstop since he got it.
In the video "My Crass Patch" by Dads, Scott Scharinger is seen playing both a red and a black First Act Custom Shop Delia, showcasing his use of this semi-hollowbody electric guitar model.
Scott used a V4 halfstack almost always until he started using Science amps.
In the Made of Chalk video "Dads - 'My Crass Patch,'" Scott Scharinger uses an Emperor 2x12 bass cabinet as part of his setup, running an EHX Micro-Pog with the sub-octave engaged through a bass amp.
Scott has two of these in his Pedalboard.
