the ebst american 4x12

These cabs are great. They're the original front-loading 4x12. The stock speakers are okay, but load them with old celestions and they really kick butt. They're a perfect square from the front and very deep going back. I think they were designed to bass as well as guitar duties. They make excellent bass cabs too. I love a good 4x12 bass guitar sound. Anyway, these cabs can be had for cheap in beat up condition as a local pickup, particularly around Philadelphia because the ampeg plant was not far away and we're glutted with 60s and 70s 'peg gear. These are a great buy. You will want to add casters.
