Sid Glover's Gear
Sid Glover's use of the Electro-Harmonix POG2 Polyphonic Octave Generator is confirmed through multiple Instagram posts and stories. He employs this pedal both in live performances and during the recording of "Side One/Two" with The Cruel Knives. Notably, Glover uses the Polyphonic Octave Generator with most sliders set to zero, as evidenced by the accompanying image.
Sid Glover uses the Dunlop JB95 Joe Bonamassa Signature Cry Baby Wah pedal, known for its vintage voicing with a Halo inductor. He has been observed using this pedal during solos with Heaven's Basement, and it has also been noted in his studio sessions and live performances with The Cruel Knives. The use of this gear is evidenced by an image available on Equipboard. The pedal can be heard on the verse section of The Promised Land on Side One.
Sid uses the Delta Blues both live and in the studio for it's renown clean and edge of breakup sound. The amp was used on the Red City Recordings studio sessions for Side two.
Sid uses the Octavia, same circuit as Hendrix's. The octave-fuzz is mostly used during solos. As Sid is a big Hendrix fan, this is a must have for him. It is a constant part of he's pedal board.
Preamp based on the Echoplex pream (E.P.) as he is a big fan of Jimmy Page who was known to love the Echoplex's preamp sound, no wonder that Sid choses this boost as well. The preamp can be heard on numerous verse , chorus and solo section on The Cruel Knives' Side One and Side Two. The picture is a rare instance of a full board shot of Sid's it is from a studio session from 2019.
Used both live and in studio, Sid owned this pedal and it sees most use during the Cruel Knives as Sid moved to a more fuzz based tone. The pedal is based on the 71 “triangle” and the later “Red Army / Civil War” Muffs, so it is more of a fuzzy distortion, perfect for Sid's riff based playing style and tone layering. The pedal was seen during recordings, home and stage use. Sid changed the Gain knob.
Sid's main guitar. Seen throughout the years, through different albums and bands. It has been road worn, it even got a headstock break. It is modified with a set of Bare Knuckle Riff Raffs, with Bare Knuckle / Jupiter Premium tone capacitors. It has tulip button Grover tuners The pickup switches tip was cream, amber and black throughout the years. At some point, after the release of Side Two he put a humbucker sized P90 in the neck position.
Highend boost, the original tower unit was used by Angus Young of AC/DC fame. Sid uses it as a tone enhancer

Sid has been using this amp for a number of years now. It can be spotted both in studio and live performances . The amp is most likely a mid-to-late 70's JMP 2203 (100 Watts not the 50 Watts version, knowing Sid) that takes up a bigger role in The Cruel Knives than in Heaven's Basement, as Sid was known to use his JCM 800 more back then.
Small logo model 1959, so not exactly like the one on the Equipboard catalog. I haven't seen Sid bridge the channel on this amp, unlike hes 2203. Used with Heaven's Basement and The Cruel Knives as well.
Used both live and in studios, Sid's JCM 800 can be heard through numerous recordings. He owns this vertical input example, it can be seen in multiple pictures in he's home setup.
Mainly used with The Cruel Knives, the 6 stage is a constant part of Sid 's pedal board as of recent years.
