In the Premier Guitar article "Maximum Energy: The Gear of the Original Punks" by Wallace Marx Jr., it is noted that Sid Vicious used an Ampeg SVT-CL Classic bass amplifier head.

Andy Shernoff from the Dictators posted this polaroid of Sid playing his (Andy's) Les Paul Junior. No date is listed, but I'd guess 1977-78 as Sid still looks pretty good.
