In the video titled "Genesis - Hold on My Heart - Tony Banks Cam" by Banksian Central on YouTube, which is taken from The Way We Walk original release DVD, Tony Banks is seen using the Ensoniq SD1, along with the Korg Wavestation. The SD1 logo can be seen at 3:03 in the video.

In the October 1995 issue of Keyboard Review, page 38, Tony describes having used the Ensoniq SD1 on Strictly Inc.

On the Genesis album The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, Tony Banks utilizes the Elka Professional Rhapsody 490 Analog String Synthesizer throughout the album, often in combination with a Mellotron. This can be distinctly heard on the track "Anyway," as confirmed by Genesis: A Gear Revelation Wiki.

In the film of the Wembley concerts from 1987 a Sycologic M16 MIDI Matrix controller can be seen on top of Tony's Emulator II. The rack unit itself can also be seen under Tony's mixer on the left side.
