Since the conception of The Smith Street Band, Wil has played with his J Mascis Jazzmaster. In the link the J-Mascis signature on the back of the headstock is visible.

Here Wil can be seen playing his Jazzmaster at Big Day Out 2013 in Australia. He has since taped the top nobs.
