ooooooohhhhhhhh its so funky
I grabbed one of these from the local fender dealer before they closed back in 2015/2016 for $250 on a whim. I had never owned a baritone before and this thing went far past my expectations. I recorded many a demo track with this monster, i have never played it live unfortuanlty. People either love or hate the finish, i had a coworker who refused to set it up becasue he couldnt stand the finish.

No Complaints
I really can't find anything wrong with this one. As much as I love Jazzmaster vibratos, it makes sense not to have one here. It's comfortable, sounds great without needing work or modding, and looks badass.
I didn't have much of a reason to own a baritone, but this was a deal I couldn't pass up. I've since found myself making excuses to incorporate it into my music and seeking out heavier music to play along to. It's something very different, and very cool. Great utility guitar to have around.

With a bit of modification, it can be setup to play like a baritone. Both the Bass VI and Baritone JM are 30" scale, making the conversion fairly easy. If you want the lower tuning without sacrificing the vibrato system, convert a Bass VI. They're also a heck of a lot easier to find.
