Yumi Nakashima

In Chirinuruwowaka's most recent album (2019), the videos released have featured Yumi using a Black Les Paul Custom. She most likely used this guitar for the recording of the album too.

She has used a Fender Tonemaster Head going all the way back to her days in GO!GO!7188

Her main guitar during the GO!GO!7188 years. The base model is a Fender Nashville Deluxe Telecaster but her model has a bigsby and Star inlays. She has a few different versions.

Yumi Nakashima uses the Boss OD-3 OverDrive pedal, as featured on her pedalboard in the Shadowerk article "Famous PedalBoards: Yumi Nakashima."

In a pre-2011 photo featured on Shadowerk, Yumi Nakashima's pedalboard includes the Boss LS-2 Line Selector.

In a blog post on Shadowerk titled "Famous PedalBoards," a photo of Yumi Nakashima's pedalboard from before 2011 shows the Electro-Harmonix "Black Russian" Big Muff Pi V8, highlighting its role in her setup.

Yumi will sometimes use a Marshall JCM800 2203 Head live, as shown in the linked picture from her twitter page.

Yumi Nakashima is confirmed to use the Boss PN-2 Tremolo/Pan pedal, not the Boss TR-2 as previously mentioned. This distinction is evident from a photograph by Kuno2 on Flickr, featuring the pedal's light aqua green color and its three white, inline knobs, unlike the dark green and triangular array of the TR-2. Additionally, the PN-2's unique stereo input and output labeling further verifies this identification.
