If I had to choose...
... one pedal of all the pedals I own, it would be the HX Stomp. Its distortion models sound 90% to 100% (depending on the model) like the real deal, it has great sounding amps galore (that Supro reminds me a lot of my rhythm master) a stereo-looper it’s really great to be able to pan your loops), the pitch-shifter are the best I ever heard (apart from the POG) - the only downside is the modulation models. Except for the new pebble Phaser there is not one phaser/flanger/chorus-type effect that sounds like the analog original. So I‘m just gonna keep my modulation pedals - and the HX Stomp.

Where is the 6th Star?
This amp is amazing. Pleasing, dirty, wild, soft... as you wish. I love the spring reverb and the tremolo is amazing - subtle on 35 Watts, crazy on 45/60 watts. It’s Alabama Shakes in-a-box, I mean in-an-amp. And when you crank the volume with a Tele - pure magic. And no - I‘m not a Jimmy Page fanboy. But a Supro-fanboy? Definitely yes.

Not that good on bass, but great on guitar.
The EBS Octabass is a way better fit for bass - the SubNup is quite lacking the bottom end. But for guitar this pedal is great and sounds way more natural than the EHX POG2. The POG is more synth-like - which is great for what it is. Essentially: no one will ever own ENOUGH Octave-Pedals. :)

The Carcosa is based on the Maestro FZ-1s circuit, while the Fuzz Factory is more or less a Fuzz Face with external bias controls. Apples and oranges, really. They're both great pedals, but my Carcosa see a lot more use than my Fuzz Factory.

Best digital spring...
This is by far the best digital spring I ever heard. If you‘re thinking about getting the Danelectro Spring King, which is analog and real - don‘t get the Danelectro. The Polara Spring is way better and versatile. Plus you have those Lexicon Plates, Rooms and Halls. Reverse. Shimmer (Halo). The best reverb pedal you can get.

Great sound but just way too noisy.
Pros: Built quality, sound, connectivity Cons: NOIIIISSSSSSSE! All over the place. Had to send it back :-( I'm now using the Moog Multimode Filter XL on the UAD wih the Softube Console1 to control it hands-on. Sounds not as good but at least it's not noisy - good enough for me as a home studio guy. And if I want a tiny bit of analog noise, I send the signal through my KT-76 Urei clone for some "analogueness".

The best looper I ever used
I got it for the delays - they are good. But the best thing about the X4 ist the looper. It reacts so fast and without any latency. Every other looper I ever owned was problematic in the end. The Vox, the Digitech Jamman XT Solo, the Boss RC-20. They all were harder to use and faulty loopwise. With the TC you click or kick it and the loop just works and fits.

WOW!
For the price it's a great way too get hands-on-control and analog compression in your home studio. It may not be enough for Pros, but for guys like me with just a home studio the KT-76 is almost perfect. Because it's a little bit noisy it's not perfect. But the typical Urei-sound is there, and that's what counts.

Clone of the Timmy Overdrive
I never used a Timmy - but this Mosky Clone rocks. Goes from almost transparent (not as transparent as the Mosky Golden Horse a.k.a. Klon-Clone) to wild distortion. The Bass and Treble Knobs work, but I wish they would be more drastic. As with all Mosky pedals. Not only for the price they are good. The ARE good!

What the hell...
I did a shoot-out with a KTR (reissue) and a Tumnus Deluxe. At first I didn't like the KTR too much. Reminded me of running my guitar through a mobile phone. Let's be honest guys. Klons are good for enhancing your solo-sound but for rhythm sounds it's just boring and honky. I liked the Wampler Tumnus Deluxe way better - because I was able to adjust the mids and bass. But still - sounded like a mobile-phone-speaker. I LOVE that sound when playing blues solos over a beacking track or a real band. But 400 or 220 bucks??? Then I tried the Mosky Golden Horse and did a shooutout between the three pedals. What the... a pedal worth 22 bucks sounds almost exactly the same as a pedal for 400 bucks. Okay, if you crank the Gain on the Mosky it loses some definition compared to the KTR and the Wampler - or it might just sound different - not worse. But let's be honest. Who cranks the gain on a Klon pedal? Up until 3 o'clock all three pedals sounded EXACTLY the same. Save your money and get the Mosky.
