Solid strap locks

I've used other strap locks, I've broken other strap locks. These haven't failed me (yet)

Sounds great at an affordable price

Has a good level of noise cancellation/suppression and isolation. The frequency response is a great embellishment to my style of singing, something I hadn't realised was effecting my vocal with other affordable mics. Got it in a bundle with an xlr and stand for , great affordable starting point without feeling or sounding cheap. If I were being facetious, I dare say priceier mics "sound better" and could knock a star down, but taking into account everything and reviewing solely on what I have it's a 5/5

Really sings

Put this in 5he neck position on my squire strat, it's a huge sounding pickup and really makes the guitar sing.

Solid player after new strings and a setup.

Bought as an affordable option for a first 7 string at £319. Out of the box it needed a setup as strings were choking out all over the fretboard and the high strings had a buzz on low frets. Put a set of Ernie Ball Cobalts (top heavy, bottom slinky) on it and set it up to correct issues mentioned and it's a solid play. Will probably change the pickups to some Seymour Duncans or Bare Knuckles, as to my ear there seems to be a bit of a cocked wah sound on the stock bridge - this is more a personal preference than a criticism.

Turned my lifeless 7 string into a beast

going up an extra gauge on the thicker strings really made a difference. I find the cobalt wound strings are less harsh on the fingertips, and bend easier

Exactly what I was expecting.

I have the chrome covered neck and open coil bridge in my mockingbird, coil tapped. Delivers what my stock pickups couldn't, and cleans up nicely with the coil tap.

Great tool

Really great for composing and recording ideas.

Ok for what it is

Its ok. Volume knobs on mine was extremely temperamental

uncannyadam

Cheap and Cheerful

Picked one up for £20. No frills fuzz with a wide range of tones.

Floyd Rose bridge is a pain

Great for metal, really heavy on the weight aspect too

First guitar - great for modding!

Was my first guitar, brillant value for the money and a good place to start. I've changed the pickups, added and removed a killswitch, installed a new bridge and locking tuners since. Great guitar to keep in the collection as a modder and to learn setup/cleaning/wiring/etc techniques.

On it's own it's great, before a higher gain distortion is amazing.

On it's own it has a nice amount of gain and boost to push some nice bluesy lead tones out of my amp. I also use it to fatten up my DOD Gunslinger in a pinch. Can't really find any faults, I bought it new way back in the day and it's worth every penny now to me as then.

uncannyadam

Exactly what you'd expect.

Easy to use, plenty of storage for your patches on the amp.

Best practice amp I've ever owned

For the money, you get a hell of a lot. I paid extra for the footswitch and would have been happy if it cost 100 more than it did. The different amp models offer a range of wonderful tones, and the presets give a good feel for what this thing can do.

Exactly what it says on the tin.

Powers my pedals with no issues - great buy.

uncannyadam

For what it is, it is really good.

For a cheap multi-fx unit this pedal is great. Lots of neat preset patches and the ability to change it up. I still have this on my board today for a few of the modulation and pitch shifting effects. Only knocked a star off as and expression pedal needs to be bought separately.

Simple Looper, Great Price

For the price this is a fantastic looper, really easy to use with straight-forward controls and a simple interface. The Jamsync function is a really neat addition for people who like to create massive loop soundscapes. The Silent Clear is really useful, as i mainly use it for creating a backing track mid-song to solo over, and often need to change riffs later in the song. Only downfall is that it's maybe a little too simple, double tapping to switch the loop off can get tedious.

Great piece of kit

I use mine as a true bypass on/off switch and booster for a kaoss pad, haven't tried the power supply option yet

uncannyadam

Lots of noise

This pedal is a good high gain distortion, however it has lots of feedback and noise when on and not playing.

its basically an opamp big muff with a baxandall tonestack, dependingon your soldering skills you could upgrade the opamps to lower noise models (I like Burr Brown's stuff, but its kinda hifi for some folks in guitar-land) and replace the cheap resistors with low noise metal film types. it will probably help a lot and still be cheaper than buying a similar boutique muff variant with the 2 band tonestack...

As expected

This pedal delivers as you would expect a wah pedal too, dropped a star as no true bypass option (without modding)
