Critic Reviews

Marshall Code 25: A Comprehensive Review

guitarsquid.com

The Marshall Code 25 offers a sleek design and user-friendly controls, making it a solid pick for beginners and intermediates. Its compact build and extensive feature set provide excellent value for money. However, the built-in speaker lacks depth and clarity, making headphones a better option for sound quality. Reliability issues like Bluetooth pairing problems and firmware glitches could be annoying for some users. Overall, while it may not be ideal for gigs or serious recording, the Marshall Code 25 shines as a versatile practice amp that combines portability with robust sound customization options.

Marshall Code25 Combo review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The Marshall CODE 25 shines as an affordable gateway into the iconic Marshall tone, packed with excellent amp and effects models suitable for home practice and recording. Despite its compact and portable design, it lacks the power needed for live performances. The standout feature is the Gateway app, enabling intuitive control and flexibility via Bluetooth. While some modulation effects could use more warmth, the overall sound quality and user-friendly interface make it an appealing choice for budget-conscious musicians seeking versatility. The verdict is clear: for Marshall enthusiasts on a budget, the CODE 25 is a solid contender.

decent amp

i quite enjoyed this amp, the presets were alright, and the customization was nice, but for some reason it didnt take pedals very well. even after hours dialing both amp and pedal in, i could not get it so sound good.

Low Budget Practice Amp

Not Valve? You shouldn't do that? Of course the playability and the sound of the amp. But if you play with not to much budget, you get sooo much for your money. Firstable, the amp is that loud that I can hardly play it without headphones at home. 2nd, you get a bunch of different sounding amps and effects on it and they are all accessable via phone app or as presets with the footswitch which to buy I'd highly recommand. It has USB and Bluetooth connection which gives you the oportunity to play along to songs or youtube guitar lessons.

it is great

i got this in around late april 4th week or the 1st week of may it is cool cuz it has built in effects.i was originally buy a blackstar amp but my dad told me not to buy it so the time i was going to a hotel in zambales philippines i thought about what brand should i buy so i remember marshall so after that i was looking for marshall amps in my local marshall dealer and i found this it is cool.

great

great intuitive design. Provides great classic tones with the twist of a knob.

uncannyadam

Best practice amp I've ever owned

For the money, you get a hell of a lot. I paid extra for the footswitch and would have been happy if it cost 100 more than it did. The different amp models offer a range of wonderful tones, and the presets give a good feel for what this thing can do.
