It stands out as my favourite DAW, but is definitely still lacking in some areas. Automation editing requires manually drawing points in with no options for patterns and no grid snap. Tool orders and grid snap reset whenever reopening Logic - Can't set the pencil as the default tool or retain absolute snap to a particular grid size etc. The score editor is also primitive, nothing like a full notation software. Additionally, updates are extremely slow and nothing groundbreaking, although they have been free since Pro X. Otherwise very good in most aspects.
High quality, beautiful samples throughout with many articulations. The legato patches are particularly versatile and playable, ranging from extremely smooth transitions at low velocities to fast, staccato-like attacks at higher velocities. All other articulations I've tried so far sound very usable and high quality. Some small downsides are the lack of dry samples (as everything was recorded in a large hall), the lack of ensemble patches, and the lack of polyphonic legato. These are definitely not enough to be off-putting in any way, the library meets and exceeds expectations generally.
Every stage of the way with purchasing this item, another heavy layer of cost appeared. Got it on 60% off sale, still a high cost. Started at $426 for Gold + Solo instruments on Mac HD, then as I get to PayPal, over +80$ in tax appears, then after confirming on PayPal regardless, +26$ for delivery appears. Up to over $540!! All of this cost information should be visible from the start. I got the download version instead. Amazing library, but not a good checkout experience.
I would highly recommend this library for anyone who wants to work particularly with full sections of instruments and get an amazing sound of these larger sections. For those who want close control over individual instruments, I would not recommend this library. I want both, so I use this in conjunction with Eastwest Hollywood gold for the best of both worlds!
Amazing product for anyone who wants to always have a high quality backup library for nearly any compositional or production situation. Works extremely well for my workflow.
Got the pro version of this, and the morphing functionality in 7 works for making endless variations. More playable than any other piano library, especially for classical pieces.
The marketing is not deceptive, these have transformed my mixes and I recently upgraded to platinum.
All working very well so far, major upgrade over all previous apple laptops. Extremely smooth and immediate in all tasks.
Best orchestral library I have purchased in terms of value and diversity of high quality products included, now that it is no longer subscription-based only.
I have ordered this product for its numerous benefits. Extremely high quality in both the audio and the build, with all ports on the back. Looks amazing and matches my setup better since there is nothing sticking out of the front over the piano keys.
Allows for virtually unlimited realtime audio experimentation, plus incorporating various top quality effects. Along with Vital, this is my new go-to.
Using this synthesiser regularly now in place of others like Serum, Massive, and Synthmaster. I find it to be the most modern: Highly responsive, highly intuitive, and very high quality sound. Its extensive features will keep me busy for a long time.
Using my 12.9-inch third-gen iPad Pro for Sidecar. Sidecar enables this to be effectively used with Logic Pro as an advanced, seamless secondary Usb-C or Bluetooth display with the duplicated touchbar easily in reach. Catalina breaks a lot of plugins, but it's worth it for this!
Love the quality of this library, but once I purchased it and tried it out with an 88 key keyboard it quickly became apparent that the scope is limited to some extent. Many instruments are confined to ranges stretching from a lower C to a higher C, without taking into account any additional range the instrument would usually have beyond the highest and lowest available notes in this library. Additionally, there's not a lot of instruments for an orchestral composer, but it covers the basics nicely for anyone wanting a simple high quality orchestral library.
I use both FL Studio and Logic (primarily logic) and find both to be very useful for different purposes when producing and composing. For MIDI data manipulation, both are amazing, but FL studio stands out for its simplicity and smooth efficiency of piano roll input. The included ZGameEditor plugin is also extremely useful for effortlessly creating interesting high quality videos for many purposes.
Super realistic with a very pleasant timbre. Beaten only by Pianoteq 6, and rivalled by VSL Synchron Imperial and Noire in my experience.
Works well, but it is virtually impossible to reach the highest velocities around 127. If this velocity curve was fixed and it had pitch bend and modulation wheels (I control those from another keyboard) it would be ideal.
I purchased the ultimate education 2019 version of Sibelius for academic purposes and my own purposes. This software is expensive initially and massively more expensive to continually upgrade. It has many small flaws in the interface and the visuals are not as pretty as I’d like (dark mode would be nice), but otherwise, it is brilliant and I like the workflow a lot. I would highly recommend it to anyone who can afford it and wants the largest notational toolset possible that is very highly efficient and usable once you get to know it.

Beautiful high quality interface, but it is highly unreliable. It constantly disconnects no matter what cable or port combination I use to connect it. Also difficult to connect in the first place. Apparently a common issue with this whole range.
I don't use this for the keyboard as I have another 88 key keyboard in use, but for the modwheel, pitchbend and midi CC controls this is a very good low cost item.
