I sold my soul to the iPad and I had some fun with it... Buy one first, judge me afterwards.

As an Android and open source philosophy lover I hated Apple’s market arrogant strategy and the huge price tags of the products. I still love philosophy and dislike that but now I know that I got what I paid for. They are ahead of their time about quality and product design but they suck so much on making cables. Just buy from other brands when you cable dies on you... I have to say tha Apple also doesn’t recognize that all musicians in the world are in love with the 3,5 phone jack. But, ill keep on with my honest review. Their products definitely could be sold for less penny’s but it will change your music perspective, productivity and inspire you with the pletora of professional sounding apps. I’m also an app developer and I know that Apple took care from the latency issues of their devices since the release of their first iPad. That being said, the Android hardware partners such as Samsung did not believe that music was something very important and priority on a phone. They whore so wrong... The iPad is bringing a revolution to the music production putting full studio solution at the tips of your fingers. The musicians in the world did not know they needed multi touch interfaces with pressure sensitivity to express their feelings. And all the synths apps from Korg, Roland, Yamaha, Novation, the list is huge. I cant forget the incredible DAWs that are changing oppinions off very skeptical famous music producers that build the songs you love. Trust me Apple music environment is now a mature environment and is here to stay. Boy ow boy, if you’re not sold by now, just ask a musician friend that owns one. Just do you a favor, save you pennies buy one and prove me wrong. Or else just embrace the joy of music technology revolution and move to a new era. You wont be charged by this free tip but you will remember me...

Powerful external display

Using my 12.9-inch third-gen iPad Pro for Sidecar. Sidecar enables this to be effectively used with Logic Pro as an advanced, seamless secondary Usb-C or Bluetooth display with the duplicated touchbar easily in reach. Catalina breaks a lot of plugins, but it's worth it for this!

Who'd have thought?

With Ableton Link, menubus, & internal MIDI, it's become an inspiration even if the tracks never make it into my work. I feel it's a lack of imagination on my behalf tho. I'll be exploring further as time allows but yeah-the iPad is now an instrument. A ton of 'em. I'll update w/ the instrument apps as I explore. Definitely not to be discounted, even if it's not your bag. Lord knows I never thought it'd be part of my stuffs.

12.9 and 256 GB just enough to do everything

Still the best around for al music and video production. I encourage you to get one ! Is amazing how much one can do with this thing... usb-c allows for many connections while charging.

The best tablet for Professional user.

I use this for editing my music using Beat Maker 3. Also video editing, I using this. It's really convenient. Also this tablet was using on my DJ Set for performance. The speed is crazy fast. Almost instantly....
