The bassist of the used played aguilar and zach loved this bass tone. After the tour zach got in touch with aguilar, and they sent him amps to try. He settled on the db 751 for live shows

The bass was modded to have a set of duncan quarter pounders, and a single volume. Zach uses the 63 for songs tuned a half step down
