Rex and the Bass: Nash PB-57 Bass

rexbass.com

Nash's PB-57 is a fantastic homage to the 1957 Precision Bass, boasting superb craftsmanship and rich sound thanks to its Lollar pickups. While the relic treatment and orange neck tint may not appeal to everyone, the PB-57 impresses with its faithful vintage design and great playability. Despite being a bit pricey at $1700, it stands out as one of the best P-basses reviewed. The reviewer, however, is not keeping it due to personal aesthetic preferences.

Amazing

I love all Nash instruments, and I love P Basses… so I love this bass! I have a heavy relic, and it feels super comfortable and worn in. The lollar pickups sound great. Easy to play, looks amazing, and sounds great. I think it’s an upgrade from Fender custom shop, plus they come with the coolest cases.

Preferred Settings + Usage:

I like to play with a lot of tone rolled off on all my pbasses (this is not an exception).
