Rex and the Bass: Nash PB-63 Bass Guitar Review

rexbass.com

The Nash PB-63 is a standout Precision Bass replica, expertly crafted with a comfortable neck and rich-sounding Lollar pickups. Its light aging and high-quality components, like Dunlop frets and Kluson-style tuners, enhance its vintage appeal. However, the relic treatment may be a bit excessive for some tastes, and the absence of drilled holes for bridge and pickup covers is a notable oversight. At a street price of around $1900, it’s a worthy investment for players seeking a pre-CBS Fender vibe but may not satisfy purists seeking complete authenticity. Overall, it’s a superb choice for both casual and serious bassists.

Awesome neck and light weight but...

I found the body to be too light that eve with the Gotoh Res-o-lite tuners it comes with, there was still some neck dive. But I’m sensitive to instrument balance so I had to sell it. LOVED the neck feel and also the Lollar pups. I’m glad I gave it some mileage before letting it go.
