The third guitar on Josh Rand's rack is a limited run of RG guitars by Ibanez. This one has been refitted wtih EMG pickups.

“So for The Rolling Stones song Gimme Shelter, I used my 1974 Telecaster and a Fender amp. Which is not what I would normally play in Stone Sour! And in fact, my traditional sounds and settings wouldn’t translate well in that song.

Josh uses a custom talmans while playing with stone sour on the hydrograd tour. He has one in a blue color, and another in a custom pokadot finish

Josh uses an ibanez paul gilbert signature guitar. He owned this guitar when he was a kid but ended up selling it. 23 Years later, he found the guitar for sale online and bought it back. He uses the Paul Gilbert guitars becuuse he is a huge gilbert fan. the guitar is moded with locking tuners and the trem is blocked off

Josh has a PGM 700 that he uses as a backup. This guitar was ajapan exclusive with only 50 made. Josh found it in the netherlands while he was on tour. this was a guitar he always wanted as a Paul Gilbert fan
