At 1:10 in the video, Ian is auditioning a Big Muff Pi Ram's Head. The pedal is distinctively a third edition Ram's Head Big Muff because of the red text and black knobs.

"'And before you came to Stevenson's amps, what did you run through?''Before that I was using a (Peavey) 5150 head, I think it was a '91. And I really liked those tones, too, like they were really clean. I'm a big fan of the bright guitar amps. I was using a 5150 through a Vox cabinet at the time and it was super bright but at the same time with the 5150 every time you turned the gain up it would just get a little too saturated for me. In this interview by "UberProAudio", they interview Ian D'sa over the phone about Billy Talent's new album "Afraid of Heights". Later in the interview Ian was asked about what guitar strings he uses, He explains that on The "Afraid of Heights" album and tour he has been using and really enjoying the D'Addario NYXL Nickel Wound Light Top / Heavy Bottom Electric Guitar Strings (10-52), and that he did use Dean Markley (10-52) guitar strings but he was looking for strings more brighter in tone and guitar strings that last much longer.

At 0:53 in the video, the camera pans up on a TV yellow Gibson Les Paul Special.

The body shape (single-cut with no curve), pickups (two P90's) and controls (two volume and two tone) of the guitar are identical to an LP Special and the headstock is definitely Gibson. However, the bridge is a 'Tune-O-Matic' instead of the usual 'wraparound' bridge, so this guitar could be modified or a special-edition.
