Polyend is a Polish electronic instrument maker founded by Piotr Raczyński and based in northeastern Poland. The company began in 2015 with Perc, a robotic percussion interface that triggered acoustic drums via MIDI/CV, before expanding into sequencers and grid-based hardware. Its catalog grew to include the Seq step sequencer, the Medusa hybrid synthesizer (a collaboration with Greek builder Dreadbox), the Tracker and Tracker+ standalone hardware trackers inspired by the tradition of software trackers like Amiga-era SoundTracker, the Play sample-based groovebox, and the multitimbral Polyend Synth.

The brand is best known for the Tracker, widely credited as the first standalone hardware tracker, which combines a sampler, wavetable synthesis engine, and a vertically scrolling pattern sequencer in a portable form factor. Play extends the same design philosophy to a more conventional horizontal grid workflow with eight sample tracks and eight MIDI tracks, while the Polyend Synth offers a three-part digital synthesizer designed around the same tactile grid interface that runs through much of the lineup.

Polyend has carved out a niche among electronic and experimental musicians who favor hardware-first, computer-free workflows, and its instruments have been picked up by artists including Aphex Twin, Sigur Rós, and The Chemical Brothers.

Polyend has 20 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Production & Groove, Drum Machines, and Modular Synthesizers. Their gear is featured by 26 artists, with the strongest followings in Electronic, Rock, and Pop. Notable users include Andrew Huang, Adrian Utley, and Richard Devine. Most Polyend products fall in the mid-tier range — professional-grade without flagship pricing.
