Guitars & Strings 6

This guitar is one of the best guitars under $1000. It's very well-done and fun to play with. The only thing I'd correct is the need for an allen key to set up the vibrato handle. I usually take it out to protect the bridge during transport and it's tedious to set up since the screw is in the worst place possible and it's very easy to lose! Overall though, the guitar is a favorite!
Although being pretty cheap, I had this guitar for almost 10 years already and never disappointed me. It needs some extra care since the neck is starting to give up but that's nothing it cannot be repaired. Nice and warm sound, very easy to learn with.

Effects Pedals 11

I really like this pedal and the effects are endless, but that's mainly my problem with it. It's overwhelming the amount of functions it has and it's impossible to change effectively mid-performance without staring at the board for 10 minutes, so it kinda defeats the purpose. I'm still struggling to understand what the god-forsaken *mode* button does to every effect. Again, it's overwhelming, so I usually use it in the same setting - which, I insist, I really like - but it makes me wonder why have 11 different reverb effects in one pedal if I'm always gonna leave it on Plate? Maybe I'm the problem, I don't know.
Ok I really like Chorus and I really like Phaser. So when I found this pedal on sale I was very interested. I still cannot believe I found this gem. The phaser is a grunger wet-dream and the chorus is a shoegaze orgasm, so as a 90s kid this pedal is spot on. My only issue? I cannot use both effects at the same time (not sure if I actually need it, but it would've been nice to try). The Wack'd mode is actually *krazy* and I'm not that good of a musician to use it properly, but sometimes I turn it on to hear the weird sounds. p.s.: Love the knobs hidden, I don't know why the system didn't catch on
I've been looking for the right fuzz for some time, I really like the psychedelic sounds so I was looking for a more classic sound. When I found out that Aclam Guitars (a team I know personally, so I might be a bit biased, sorry about that) was developing this Fuzz I was expectant. And once announced it didn't disappoint. The sound was exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, I had to wait for the second reissue in order to save enough money to pay for it - maybe that's my only issue with the pedal, but one should expect this prices for *boutique pedals* - but it was clearly worth the wait. This pedal offers such versatility of sound despite its simplicity, which is much obliged. I'm awaiting to keep playing with it, I'm gonna be using it a lot for sure.
