Description

Introducing the JHS 3 Series Delay, an innovative blend of vintage and modern delay sounds in a user-friendly format. This versatile guitar pedal boasts a range of echo tones, from warm, saturated repeats to crystal clear delays.

The all-analog delay circuit at its core, inspired by vintage designs dating back to the '70s and '80s, offers an organic, lush echo that adds a layer of warmth and musicality that digital delays struggle to match. With delay time ranging from 30ms to 600ms, this pedal allows for a wide spectrum of sound, from tight slapback echoes to ambient washes of sound.

Despite its complex capabilities, the 3 Series Delay is straightforward to use. With just three knobs, Time, Repeats and Mix, you can easily create your ideal delay sound. Whether you want to add a subtle ambiance or make the delay the star of your sound, the 3 Series Delay has got you covered.

Made to professional standards, this pedal can withstand the rigors of touring and gigging. Its durable, powder-coated enclosure and high-quality components ensure maximum reliability. This pedal is not just an addition to your gear, it's an investment in your music.

Perfect Gigging Pedals? JHS 3 Series Reverb and Delay Review – Guitars For Idiots

guitarsforidiots.com

The JHS 3 Series Delay shines as an accessible, reliable option for gigging musicians. With its straightforward controls and solid build, it delivers rich tones that suit various styles, making it a staple for live performances. However, while it manages impressive versatility, it lacks some advanced features and may not fully capture the desired spring reverb sound. Still, for its price point, the Delay stands out as an exceptional value. While not a replacement for high-end models, it’s perfect for those on a budget seeking quality performance without compromising on sound. In short, it’s a fantastic addition for any guitarist looking to enhance their pedalboard.

JHS 3 Series Delay Review — The Gear Check

gearcheck.co.uk

The JHS 3 Series Delay delivers exceptional sound quality and solid build at an unbeatable price. With a minimalist design, it impresses with its clarity in digital mode and an effective approximation of analog delay. However, its basic feature set may disappoint those seeking more complexity. While the pedal shines with crisp repeats, it lacks the warmth of pricier analog options. The six-month warranty is also a drawback compared to competitors offering longer coverage. Overall, for musicians after a straightforward, versatile delay, this pedal is a strong contender, but it may not satisfy those desiring richer tonal variations.

3 Series Delay Review: It's built for gigging and recording without having to worry about... | JHS | Guitar Effects | Reviews @ Ultimate-Guitar.Com

ultimate-guitar.com

The JHS 3 Series Delay is a standout pedal that marries ease of use with impressive sound quality. With simple controls and two distinct modes—crystalline digital and warm analog—it offers versatility suitable for various musical styles. While its straightforward design is praised for its simplicity, some may find it lacks the character of more specialized delay pedals. That said, its sturdy build and quiet operation make it a reliable choice for gigging musicians. At an accessible price point of $99, this pedal is a fantastic option for those seeking boutique quality without breaking the bank. Overall, it's hard not to recommend this pedal for budget-conscious players looking for a dependable delay with a range of tonal possibilities.

It's fine - but the dB boost...

This is a fine delay. The analog voicing really doesn't do anything for me. But as a first pedal, it's perfectly adequate. When it's engaged, it kicks in about 2dB of volume, and for me personally, that's unacceptable. I want to be in complete control of my tone at all time, which often means setting up my pedals at unity, or more for whatever I need in a particular scenario. Not being able to have the delay without the boost makes it so that this pedal is undesirable for my purposes.

theinkdemon

Great for what it is.

This is, by far, one of my favorite pedals I own. Even if it's nothing special, it's mine. I stuck some tape on the front that reads Aurora. If you're wanting a delay pedal, and don't want to spend an arm and leg, check this one out.
