Description
The Fender CD-60 Dreadnought is a harmonious blend of craftsmanship and affordability, perfect for musicians seeking a robust acoustic experience. With its solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides, the CD-60 delivers a full-bodied, resonant sound that’s ideal for both live performances and studio recordings. The combination of these tonewoods ensures a balanced sonic palette, with warm lows and crisp highs that cut through any mix.
Fender has fine-tuned this model with thoughtful upgrades, including a compensated bridge saddle and a refined sunburst finish that adds a touch of elegance. The scalloped X-bracing enhances the guitar's projection and tonal complexity, allowing the spruce top to vibrate freely for a more dynamic sound. Meanwhile, the Graph Tech nut and saddle contribute to improved sustain and clarity, ensuring that every note rings true.
This dreadnought is not just about sound; its aesthetic upgrades, like the smaller dot inlays and black pickguard, offer a visual appeal that complements its acoustic excellence. The CD-60 also features coated strings, designed to resist corrosion and prolong the life of your instrument, making sure your music sounds its best for longer. Whether you're strumming at home or playing to a crowd, the Fender CD-60 Dreadnought is built to inspire.

Perfect Dreadnought
This is also my first guitar. The bass on this guitar is phenomenal; I tend to use it for bass recordings more than an actual bass guitar. Chords sound very nice when played on this guitar, but I would recommend using barre chords most often as they sound better on any Dreadnought guitar. My favourite part about this guitar though, is how nice power chords sound.

great beginner instrument
great guitar and is very well built considering it's price. no sharp fret ends or fret buzz which is common for a 'cheaper' acoustic guitar.

Durable and reliable
Although being pretty cheap, I had this guitar for almost 10 years already and never disappointed me. It needs some extra care since the neck is starting to give up but that's nothing it cannot be repaired. Nice and warm sound, very easy to learn with.

Decent Guitar just not for the price
This was my first ever acoustic guitar since I realized I should get one before spending money on MORE electric guitars. I paid $200 for it and it is truly not worth it. It sounds out of tune, it feels awful, and the tone is ok. For $200 though I wish I could trade this for another guitar.

Best choices for this price !
I got Fender CD 60 with natural finish for my birthday in 2009. This is a nice looking and good sounding guitar from Fender, officialy produced in China. As for me, neck feels a little thicker and flatter than I prefer, but it's not such a problem. It fits and sounds perfectly with D'addario Medium or Light strings.

A very warm guitar that is almost perfect for the price
The guitar allows for a warm sound when the strings are replaced for a better quality set.
