There's not a great deal of emotion, but Jordan Rudess is the best pianist in any form of pop, or rock, John Petrucci is a technically amazing guitarist, John Myung is a damn good bassist, Portnoy is a brilliant drummer, that singers a total idiot, he can't sing for sh*t. They have some absoloute masterpeices.

It wasn't until today I finally realised what an amazing artists Dj Khaled is, he's just brilliant, nobody compares to him, and his sheer level of ability, and taste, and talent.

Yeah the winery dogs, they're a great band. Billy is one of the best bassists alive, Portnoy is quite possibly the best drummer, and Kotzen isn't bad himself. Classic Rock (Kotzen, I guess)meets annoyingly good technically ability (Portnoy, and Sheehan). I have no idea what genre it is, though on paper it's math rock.

Why have you not taught him the powers of dream theatre? I need to buy their latest album, it sounds like it's amazing.

Bugera's are pretty nice, I've only played one, and I can't remember what it was, though it was most likely a G20. I love the AC15, and personally out of those that'd be my pick, I've heard the Laney's alright, and I've never played any Jet City amps, I only know theyre built by Soldano I think, so they can't be terrible.

That's a Gibson L1 , and maybe a 70s/80s Yamaha. I don't know really, I'm not overly knowledgable on the acoustic side of the spectrum, usually I just use my boss ac-2, as my takamine has action higher than snoop dogg.

Right since, I'm getting rid of my horrendous OD, modulation pedal, and amp I could to do with an OD, and a DS. I was looking at those dual tone city things, do you know if any of them have the ability to do really heavy distortion as well, as a OD, at the same time, using the boost function? The soldano one might, but I'm not driving to bloody Guildford just to test them out.

If anybody is interesting I'm selling my line 6 spider, behringer OD, and chord chorus for £45,000 each. Each have a uniquely low quality, and are a great find.

I don't know if the it's the same with bass, and guitar muffs, but in my experience the smaller the muffs the worst sound. The nano Big Muff Pi, is ridiculously tinny, and horrible, where as the full size is the nicest. I have the tone wicker model which I think is a little big muff with the billy corgan mod (I love SP so I use it for that), an a high pass filter

Hey y'all I haven't been around to much lately as I decided to get off EB, and do some stuff in real life, as well as realising I should actually learn some more guitar stuff techniques, and scales, etc, as opposed to sitting around discussing them, and other useless things with middle aged guitar nerds over a forum. So in short I've been doing lots of the technique stuff I've asked about stuff.

I have a feeling that the EB forum is slowing down, what with me, and Liam both elsewhere most of the time (To of the biggest addicts). I had an epiphany, and Nick told Liam to spend time with his kids.

As for the tempos, I thought 120bpm was just a nice regular tempo, with 60bp,m being half of that for a breakdown/slow bit. Cn't remember about 109.

Ok the synths are in, it's a kind of moogy bass thin I did with this great, free VSTi. It's got fairly awkward timing I guess, but it's nothing too hard to work out. Essentially all you have to do is place it a little after the line starts, and it should last for four lines, or just a segment. I can upload a context recording if you want me too, but can you put that soundcloud recording into the dropbox.
