Where are your income taxes going?
Hey, welcome. If there's one thing that I've learnt after nearly a year on EB, it's that papa Jimmy is usually right, whether you like it or not, even if the way he puts it across is incredibly dickish (No offense, but it happens), and just like a family it's our duty to remind him that, every once in a while.
But seriously though, he has an incredible musical database up in his head, and he can comment well on pretty much anything; truly something to aspire to.
Me Liam, and Narcy, don't have as much experience; none of us have toured, or had studio, and gear experience like the mods, and boom, jim, absentwalrus, nicky etc., but that doesn't mean we're idiots.
My scene is more alt rock smashing pumpkins stuff, as well as post, and proggy rock, and metal, such as maiden, dream theatre, mogwai, russian circles, aninmals as leaders, 65dos, pink floyd, etc, and if I appear butthurt, or mad, I'm a teenager, and so justified. ;)
Also the typeface/lexicon/whatever the right term is, is really fking stupid here!!! Don't experiment with stars, or stuff, it gets wierd.

Made in the Uk, I think. Maybe leave out "Hand".
Like EHX; they're not "made in nyc", they're "assembled in nyc", and made in Asia.

You never said anything mate! It probably is Chinese, I only remember it not being HW

It's a good solid amp, I dig the bright switch, and the clean is pretty great, though the dirt is very underwhelming (Ha Jim! I trump you here, because yes I have played it loud now, while at my church, and it cannot go that high gain).
My band played a short four song set at my school, as part of a small concert (And that whole event is a thread for another day), so we're getting there, and the local record shop has agreed to stock our stuff, though it'll sell for £3, so...

Just a month after I got my 2nd hand laney, for £250, I found a 2nd hand AC15 floating around on the web, for £275! Why can't I be more patient!

No offense, but isn't it worth you getting a better amp, before you buy more guitars. You've already got a fair few, but unless you have one, and haven't put it up, in my opinion (Which, granted, hasn't been worth much on EB, since I said I was 13) a good amp is pretty necessary (As is a good guitar, but you've already got a few of those).

I'm confused. If you're on about the size of his house it's just a regular midsize terrace. If you're on about protection, I don't know the size of her Dad's house.

Just found out yesterday that my neighbour's Dad used to beat sting up on the school bus!

System Of A Down new album coming soon!!
As a subgenre pedant, I'd put them as prog rock, with metal elements, especially in the lyrical apects, and occasionally in the musical side of things; it can get quite intense.

System Of A Down new album coming soon!!
Can you attach a link, I'm curious to see this? I've always been an MJK sceptic, he ruins the band's vibe, rarely acts normally on stage, and is very temperamental. They could be a lot of a bigger band in the alt/prog metal scene at the moment, if he didn't act like an idiot, and tell the crowd to dig wholes and start f*cking, while dressed in a bikini. He's a lot more suited to some crappy punk band not concerned with image.

System Of A Down new album coming soon!!
I hope it does come out, though I'm sceptical, as to whether it will, or be good in any sense. I really can't wait to see if the tool album will come out, and at this point it does seem they're waiting 10,000 days for the next album! I'm lateraluslly so mad!

In all fairness that hasn't been active for 9 months, and I've only had EB, for six, and used it actively for three.

overwhelmed by modern multi-fx technology
I am confused; what do you actually want this modeller for? I met a guy using one of those pods your gonna buy last night, for bass, and he said it worked quite well, but I'm always sceptical, with that kind of stuff, maybe I've been watching to much of Glenn Fricker.

cant agree more with Robb Flynn
I reckon it was a joke, but it was definitely in poor taste. He's definiterly a bit of a prick, why couldn't that schizophrenic hit him instead, of dime.
Also GET SOME SLEEP! Or is it your daughter?

I didn't know you could drive in London, I thought it was a permanent traffic jam, and Londoners had evolved to livein their cars, off of overpriced inner city coffe, and edgy street food.

I'm not really in on this kind of music scene, but I would say that Daft Punk, are my favourite electronic musicians/dj/producers, whatever. They create great songs, filled with brilliant instrumentation, great electronic stuff, etc., and though they've transitioned lately from really electronic, EDM stuff, to jazzy, fusion, acid stuff, with electronic elements, it's still really good.

You do all know it's not a signature right (It might seem obvious). It's just an sg gt, a discontinued model, in black, and white. Apparently it's a shocking guitar according to a website called chorder, which doesn't sound very reliable, as I've never come across it before, in two years of internet guitar trawling.

They're a decent band, slightly reminiscent of eighties metal that wasn't screaming, or full of spandex, a little bit like the untouchable Iron Maiden, only a bit heavier, with a little bit more of a modern touch, and I think they add Americana into some of their songs, I've definitely seen the bass player use an upright at a gig, on youtube, a few times.

There's a tonne more, I have just forgotten them, I'll make a note next time I think of them.

Inception. It had a prequel that I need to watch, but as one of the most mind blowing films, both in plot, and action, effects, etc. I'd love to see how it pans out, but then it could be good left as a mystery. Now I need cut myself out of EB or I'll end up in limbo, which will probably be somewhat similar to NAMM, and I'll spend the entire of eternity discussing rackmount delay with Rob Chapman. Luckily the brilliant (ly sh*t) tones of the new waza craft amp, will shock me right up.

Is he the volbeat bloke? With the black, and white SG?

So lately I've been thinking while using some comp plugins, what do these terms actually mean?
Threshold
knees
ratio
lookahead
side chaim

I just watched a vid on MJK, last night, and damn, tool, would be so much better without him. What the hell is going on with Marilyn? Is he a truly mad, transgender, or is he really just genuinely, a creepy old man. His music's weird, his image's weird, ahhhhhh!

Pork, and prawns, amongst various daft things are banned....IN LEVITICUS, DEUTERONOMY, AND NUMBERS. Books written, because God loved his people, and those were the guidelines, and rules, devised to keep the early humans alive; they are no longer relevant, though a few still follow them. Personally I don't think so many of the things we have just happen. A big chemical reaction, and all this, amazing stuff. Humans, are incredible feats of engineering, and just look around you. I don't feel it could just happen.

Don't believe his born again Christian façade. To be Christian you can't pick, and chose what bits you want to follow, and there's a lot he doesn't. There was an interview with him in this issue of TG, with Kiko from angra, and he's such a d*ck.

What do bassists see as the best amp, the holy grail of bass amps. And is there a pedal, or plugin, or a piece of gear that is like the klon, and is viewed as divine, and is rare, and expensive.

Boom what is your channel?
Sweepstake then, who will be the next? Mick Jagger, Keef? Personally I think Ringo.

Guys, I've already said I don't play it that loud, and probably should play it louder,, though I can't without my parents excommunicating me. Read the whole thing.
