the warped vinyl is a special pedal for Daniel, it's been with him since 2021 through out time it has remained, what it mainly does is give you a tone like no other, he uses it like a chorus, but give's u that crackling warped sound, he currently has it on his wave to earth board.

this RC booster has been with him for several years, I'd see it as always being on, atleast for the poles, to stack it with another driver, you will get the rock-like lead tone, this has eventually been replaced with a, epoch boost EP-3 by Catalinbread.

this JHS morning glory pedal is as good as it gets, he used it for soloing for wave to earth live and maybe studio, and also the poles, as he currently has it on his the poles pedalboard, utilizes it with red mode on and off.

this boss delay pedal is fairly new to his board, he has it on the poles pedalboard, in the video you can see him toy around with it, he went from using digital delay's to an analog delay pedal combo with his digital delay.

Daniel Kim has use this delay pedal during 2021-2022, then he brought it back for his The Poles pedalboard 2025-2026, as seen in the video of him performing with His band The Poles.

This is a new one for Daniel Kim, he uses this for his the poles current pedalboard, and it does what a octafuzz can do, but u cannot turn off the high octave part of the pedal, like the octafuzz, but this pedal is very new to his board.

This guitar is commonly seen with Daniel when he performs with The Poles, as its sound is more associated with the Indie Rock sound of the Band. In a performance photo, Daniel Kim is clearly seen playing an Epiphone Casino in Cherry Red. According to NamuWiki, he replaced the original white pickguard with a black one, making the guitar resemble the iconic Cherry Red Gibson ES-335 or ES-330. The Epiphone Casino, initially produced in the late 1950s to early 1960s, served as a budget-friendly alternative to the Gibson ES-330 and ES-335, famously used by musicians like Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones and both John Lennon and George Harrison of The Beatles.

Daniel Kim uses the MXR M102 Dyna Comp compressor for his "The Poles" pedalboard. This is supported by an Instagram post by 박희준 (@hyijun39) dated July 22, 2025, which features a photo of Daniel Kim's pedalboard setup that prominently includes this equipment. According to the post, Daniel Kim incorporated the MXR Dyna Comp in his setup from 2018-2019 and resumed its use in 2025, continuing to the present day.

Daniel Kim uses The Blue note Tour series, and it's very interesting, he uses it on the anomalies in the, live version for the poles, but also for wave to earth, he currently has it in the wave to earth pedalboard, it can be subtle or angry sounding, it has been on his board from 2024-2026 present time

In the performance photo above, Daniel Kim is seen performing with a Fender Jaguar, finished in Vintage/Olympic White. The guitar is also complete with a tortoise shell pickguard, and a rosewood fingerboard. The Jaguar model is rarely seen in the hands of Daniel Kim, though it may be possible that he still owns this guitar, and would bring it out in shows from time to time.

Daniel Kim uses this pedal for it's flanger, but it can do more than just be a flanger, it can be a chorus, or a pitch modulator, which u have full control of with it's knobs, he uses it on both of his band's, wave to earth and The Poles currently.

The Generational Loss Pedal is a unique pedal that he uses, he uses it for the lo-fi tone, for that cassette broken effect, he uses it for wave to earth, as seen in the photo.

Daniel Kim has you various amounts of phase pedal's, but this one particular he uses it now, he's had the original Mxr phase 90, but now he's swapped it for the script logo version, the phasing sound is very important for that dramatic effect, especially live, you can hear it during The Poles music, Or Wave to earth.

many of the phase pedal's he used, were the small stone EH4800 model, or the MXR 90 modern version, and recently a DOD Phasor 201.

the Strymon Mobius, was very important for him from the beginning of wave to earth, till 2023, he used the chorus preset, and also the vintage tremolo preset as shown in the picture, before he got the chased bliss warped vinyl, the strymon Mobius is what he used for that lushes and lo-fi sound for wave to earth.

The picture above shows Daniel during a performance with The Poles playing a Fender Mustang in a Sunburst finish. The guitar itself is most likely owned by Daniel, though he is rarely seen performing with the Mustang itself, most likely using it for performances with The Poles rather than with Wave to Earth.
