Description
Experience the transparent overdrive that the JHS Morning Glory V4 is renowned for, a pedal that's won more awards and accolades than any other in its category. It effortlessly adds a mid- to low-level grit to your crystal-clear tone, boosting a crunchy tone into a thicker sustain.
This pedal brings out the tonal and responsive nuance your amp might be missing without altering your original tone. Its transparency is such that you may even forget it’s there until you turn it off. It’s like having your amp, only more of it. It's a bit challenging to describe a pedal that can have such a subtle effect on your tone, but once you plug into the Morning Glory Overdrive, you'll understand.
A significant update in the Morning Glory V4 is the relocation of the bright-cut switch to the side of the pedal, making way for a powerful boost circuit. Pair your Morning Glory V4 with the JHS Red Remote (sold separately), and you’re able to access the boost mid-song. This upgrade essentially offers you two Morning Glorys in one compact, pedalboard-friendly package.

My favorite overdrive pedal ever
I used to play my ts808 day and night, however it adds too much to my original sound, so most of the time i choose to set my 808 as a booster for fuzz. When i heard the MG for the first time, i fell in love with its perfect versutile sound, it is so clean and moving. The gain switcher also made the pedal a distortion one. Amazing! Love JHS pedals.

I am totally happy
Finally I have found this tone :) I have it always ON. In pair with my Soul Food this pedal gives me 3 cascades of overdrive (even distortion). But with this pedal you might think your pedalboard should become more "boutique". I've tried Archer and Soul Food. Both of them works great with Morning Glory.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Volume - optional Gain - 10 o'clock Tone - 13 o'clock
and Soul Food with Gain level on 15 o'clock
My favorite transparent overdrive
This is hands-down my favorite transparent overdrive I've ever played through. It really does an excellent job of retaining my original guitar tone, just dirtier. I also love the versatility of having the red remote switch to switch between the two different clipping modes. It's like gain staging in one pedal.

Incredibly versatile overdrive
This is the only drive I use, it pushes my AC30 in a way that is absolutely wonderful. it's Klon-ish, but has it's own thing too.
