"I know Sylenth1 back to front so I can make any sound on that now... it’s the one synth I really know well."

He replied to the question: "What are you using to make those sounds? For something like the metallic effects in the second drop are you using a VST or are you just doing some crazy editing on samples?" with this: "that was a serum pluck, one of the factory presets with the ott multiband dynamics preset on ableton. I drew in the midi, im a freak".
4:09, the DAW that started it all... if you've seen any Flume interview the NutriGrain story is in it
“I like NI Guitar Rig as an effect on things like vocals[...] I do that quite regularly. It’s great running things through the amps, and even if I’m not using much distortion you can get some really cool, different sounds."

In his article with MusicRadar, Flume lists Turnado as one of the plugins he uses in his studio. “I use [Sugar Bytes] Turnado a fair bit[...]"
Original article can be found here.
“I bought Spectrasonics' Omnisphere recently, which is a lot of fun, even though it’s probably about to destroy my CPU as I made the mistake of installing it all on the hard drive!”
Flume is seen using the Novation Peak synthesizer in a post on Instagram.
In this Instagram photo, Flume's studio gear can be seen. At the top is his Shure SM7B Vocal Dynamic Microphone. He says:
Setting up the new space
In this user-uploaded screenshot from a documentary, Flume is seen using the Humanoid Sound Systems Enzyme synth plugin.
"[...]My favourite software compressor is Cytomic’s The Glue."

Flume uses Ableton Live 9 as his DAW to produce. At 9:07 Flume says "For me I like to work really quickly. Ableton Live. Yeah. I've been using it for quite some time now."
In tracks 48-52, in this photo of Flume's screen running Abelton Live, Synplant can be seen.
At 9:40 Flume says: "These (Sennheiser HD 600) are really ugly. But they give you like a very good sound, very true sound. I use these for testing tracks. So you know, you'll here them on these and they might sound great. Then you listen to them on these and it doesn't sound quite as good. So if you can get your music sounding good on these, they'll sound amazing on everything else."
Flume's first video indicates he uses waves mercury (on the right hand corner). If you enhance the photo you can see he uses many waves plugins!

Flume and his Teenage Engineering OP-1, as part of his tour bus gear setup. Posted on his Instagram.
"Tour bus studio!"
In this club performance footage from YouTube, Flume uses a MacBook Pro to perform. Given the presence of what appear to be speakers (holes in the unibody design) along the sides of the keyboard (thicker than those found on the 13" models), it's highly likely to be the 15" model.
Flume's Elektron Octatrack DPS1 Sampler can be seen in this Instagram photo of some of his gear.
“I don’t really use [the APC40] for production, more for the live shows and when I’m programming stuff for the live shows.”
1:14 into the video, Flume can be seen using a pair of Event Opal monitors while producing on a NI Maschine unit.
Flume can be seen using the Roland AIRA TR-8S drum machine in a post on his Instagram account.
"Just picked up a pair of Barefoot MicroMain 27's the Gen 2 model"
Flume's setup includes an Akai LPK25 here, which he picks up and re-orients 8 seconds into the video (revealing the Akai LPK25 logo in the process).
In this video, Flume uses the Launchpad amongst several other controllers to perform. 16 minutes in, he 'plays' the Launchpad in a similar way one would a piano or traditional keyboard.
The Fireface UCX can be spotted in the first, fourth, fifth, and eighth photos of his studio in his MusicRadar article.
Flume shared this picture of his work space, where you can see the Yamaha NS-10M monitors.
Working on that new set up ???? @barefootsound
From his featured article in MusicRader: 'It's no surprise to see Maschine in Flume's studio but, as yet, he hasn't really got the most out of it, he tells us.
“I’ve never really learnt it properly so I don’t tend to use it that much,” he explains.'
This model of Maschine must be the MKII because it has one large knob on the left side, while the MKI has three smaller knobs in that location.
Flume's instagram you can see Spire opened up in Ableton.
