Giant Tone, Small Package
You can never go wrong with a Rockerverb tone stack. Well this thing delivers that exceptionally. With significantly lower headroom than a rockerverb, you can easily dime the gain and volume to get super THICC doom tones. But of course not everyone buying this is after that tone. This amp being limited to one single channel has massive flexibility within its controls. This amp is as versatile as an amp can get with only one channel. Tube preamp and tube poweramp with a tube driven fx loop. REALLY doesn't get better for the price!
The Better JCM800
This amp is the lovechild between a TriRec and a JCM800. With two channels and 3 modes between each channel, its versatility is hard to beat. Slap an OD in front and you have the drive and the mids to stand out in the mix of any band. Easily one of the most underrated amps of all time.
